Pornstar Martini History

Get ready for a legendary cocktail with the notorious Porn Star Martini! This fan-favourite drink, created by the late and great Douglas Ankrah at The Townhouse Bar in Knightsbridge back in 2002, combines three classic flavours - vodka, prosecco and passion fruit. 

Originally called Maverick Martini but later renamed because he thought every porn star would enjoy drinking it. 

The Pornstar Martini quickly rose to stardom as UK's favourite cocktail last year –and still holds its top spot today. It may be slightly cheeky compared to other, more refined cocktails. Not least requiring that special touch of passionfruit puree, but bartenders across bars worldwide keep serving it up with enthusiasm nonetheless!
