A Sidecar cocktail tastes best when served refreshingly cold. So naturally, we suggest having plenty of ice for your drink. 

However, a good sidecar needs some hard shaking to mix the ingredients smoothly. Therefore use a jam jar, sports bottle or cocktail shaker, and more importantly, have fun shaking your cocktail! The harder the shake, the frothier the drink! 

Sidecar History

The Sidecar brandy cocktail that inspired our kit, was born out of the roaring 1920s. Yet, this classic cocktail has a fascinating history! From the date of the Sidecar drink creation, the Sidecar name came from the motorcycle attachment commonly used at the end of World War I.

Moreover, the Ritz Hotel in Paris claims to be where this timeless beverage originated. Since its debut on the scene - with an initially complex recipe- the ingredients and recipe have refined for modern times. Today's recipe? It is an easy three equal parts Cognac, orange liqueur & lemon juice! Cheers to celebrating those days gone by!
